Kuhnke Powerbox
Powerbox brings Kuhnke relay switching technology to AS-Interface.
Powerbox is used to provide a single pole changeover contact output capable of switching 6A, without the use of black cable auxiliary power. Based on a standard 2I/2O AS-Interface slave design, Powerbox is a low cost solution to switching higher loads when using AS-Interface networks.
The integrated 1 C/O relay can easily be replaced at low cost. This relay is ejected by pushing the release button on top of the Powerbox body. First remove Powerbox from network. The small relay is Schrack PCB Type SNR, part number V23092-A1, VDE, UL approved 24VDC coil. Switches 6A 250VAC resistive 1A 24VDC minimum 10mA at 5V. You will need M12 connectors for sensor inputs and 2 connections for relay coil input and relay switch terminals respectively.
